MUSICA ORGANI will present concert organist Alcee Chriss III in recital Friday evening, February 3, at 8:00. First prize and Bach prize at the Canadian International Organ Competition and the Firmin Swinnen silver medal at the Longwood Gardens International Organ Competition, Dr. Chriss is a composer, conductor, and jazz pianist. We hope you’ll join us for an enjoyable evening of fine organ music.

Cosponsoring this event is the Knoxville Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. These concerts are free and open to the public. A nursery will be provided.

Musica Organi on November 4th at 8PM

Organists Dana Robinson and Paul Tegels will be heard in a program of organ duet music (for four hands!) at Westminster Church on Friday evening, November 4, at 8:00, as part of this season’s Musica Organi recital series. Music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will be featured. Dr. Robinson is Professor of Organ at the University of Illinois and Dr. Tegels is Associate Professor of Music and University Organist at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, and a past president of the Westfield Center for Historical Keyboard Studies. Cosponsoring this event is the Knoxville Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. These concerts are free and open to the public. A nursery will be provided.
